These vagabond shoes, they are longing to stray…
Founded in the 60s, Vagabond shoes originally only produced men’s shoes…but fast forward to 2013 and the company is producing beautiful footwear for both men and women from its HQ in Verberg, Sweden. Here, their workshop for prototypes makes it possible to transform an idea into a finished prototype within just a few hours, giving each part of the shoe its own distinct identity.
Paying special attention to shape, style, harmony, playfulness and detail, Vagabond Shoes produces some great looking shoes that definitely bring out our adventurous side!
These behind the scenes photos from Vagabond’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection certainly stir the inner-nomad inside of us! The shoot took place in Cappadocia, Turkey, which is well known for its lunar-like landscape and underground homes. These sporty shoes would be great for everyday wear on vacation.
Our favourite is the Vagabond Classic, because that’s exactly what it is, a classic! Comfortable and simple yet still very stylish, these pumps would be ideal for a long day of city sightseeing. Whether you pair them with dresses, shorts or skinny jeans, we reckon they will great with just about any outfit.
