Take a look at our favorite activities for your next trip to Zion National Park!

Take a Scenic Drive

There are two options for scenic drives in Zion National Park. There is the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway that provides sweeping views looking down into the park that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own vehicle, or the Zion Canyon scenic drive, which takes you through the park via shuttle. Both options provide extraordinary sights and an unforgettable experience that you definitely don’t want to miss out on.

Pitch a Tent

If you are a lover of camping and are planning on spending a couple of days in the park, consider bringing along your gear and turn it into a camping trip! With three different campsites in the park and various others only a short drive away, it’s easy to elevate your experience by turning it into a camping trip. The campsites in the park typically fill up by the end of the day, so if you don’t want to stress about having a place to make camp, call ahead to make a reservation.

Breathtaking Vistas

Zion National Park is full of incredible views, so be sure to look into some hikes that highlight the must-see landscape. The two most popular locations to capture a panoramic view of the park are Canyon Overlook and Observation Point. The Canyon Overlook Trail is best for beginners, taking around  30-60 minutes for the one-mile, round-trip hike. Observation Point on the other hand, is a strenuous, 8-mile hike that takes 4-6 hours to complete. Consider either or both!
