The DEVIL Wears Prada: London’s Best Halloween Parties and What to Wear

October has flown by in the blink of an eye this year, but it does mean we are approaching my favourite holiday, Halloween! The blood stained candy, the decorated store windows, limited edition versions of every day foods, and most importantly, the costumes and parties.

Halloween Pumpkin

Every city is alive with fancy dress events, themed club nights and spooky museum tours, and where better to celebrate than in London? It’s the one night of the year where everybody unites in eclectic costume for a night of horrors and surprises. While, in my opinion, costumes are absolute must for this holiday, it doesn’t mean you can’t stay fashion forward. This seasons IT colours include forest green, oxblood red, and of course, classic black – the perfect combo for a Halloween ensemble. We’ve selected some of the best London halloween parties, and pieced together some fabulously scary yet sassy outfits for you to flaunt at your celebrations.

The Halloween Playground

Unique venue, The Vaults, located deep beneath Waterloo station, is playing host to The Halloween Playground. The Vault’s 8 spookily themed arches will be filled with spooky cabaret acts, top DJs spinning the best party tunes (I bet anyone any money that Michael Jackson’s Thriller will be the soundtrack to the evening!), a haunted graveyard cinema, live music from musical voodoo masters, and more surprises over three consecutive nights. Friday 1st Nov is sold out, but there are still tickets for Halloween itself, as well as Saturday 2nd Nov. Click here to get your tickets NOW…or else!
