Spring/Summer 2013 Swimwear Trends: Let’s Have Some Fun!

Spring/Summer 2013 Swimwear Trends

Summer never seems to last as long as we’d like it to here at Fashion’s On Vacation and if you’re anything like us you’ll be missing sunning on the beach before you’ve even had time to shake the sand off of your Missoni Beach Towel! But don’t worry, if there’s one thing set to cure your post-spring/summer 2012 blues, that’ll be spring/summer 2013!

At this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim  we saw styles as varied as they were inspired.

With Colombian swimwear brand Agua Bendita showing some itsy-bitsy bikinis and feisty cut-outs in colours and prints as bright as the South American sunshine and Red Carter bringing Disco to the beach with high-shine metallic pieces accessorized with statement jewellery, expect to see even more neon and plenty of metallics for Spring/Summer 2013.

Auria Meets Margot Bowman Just In Time for Spring/Summer 2013

And away from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim we get a glimpse of London designer Auria’s collaboration with illustrative artist Margot Bowman. The collection, created in time for Spring/Summer 2013, shows Margot Bowman’s signature colour washes and whimsical illustrations paired with Auria’s fun spirit and sense of fashion conscience – the collection, made of recycled materials, is completely planet friendly!
