I’ve always wondered how men manage to go about their daily lives without the use of a handbag. If I so much as pop out for milk without a bag I feel as though Im walking down the street half naked, in a constant panic that I’ll just spontaneously let go of my keys or phone that I am clutching in my hands. Its true. Bags are a necessity of life.
And trips to the beach are no exception. My list of beach essentials is pretty lengthy, so a normal handbag just doesn’t cut the mustard…though even it it did, I certainly don’t want to risk getting sand in my Michael Kors Jet Set Tote. *shudders* at the thought. Beach bags are in a league of their own. Here are some of our favourite beach bags for 2013.
Ted’s range of brightly coloured plastic shoppers are perfect beach bags. They wipe clean, have oodles of space, and there’s a design of colour for just about every outfit. Not to mention they’re a bargain! The candy stripe bag even comes with matching flip flops, and a built in flipflop pocket! Romantic floral bag. £35, pink bow shopper, £35.
Ralph Lauren’s collection of canvas totes are a bargain at £120 and are ideal for summer. The cool two tone styles are bang on trend, too! I love the Valencia orange against the navy. Very chic.
Rope handle bags are the epitome of classic nautical style. These red and navy Lalu bags with chunky rope handles are sterdy and stylish! Team with lightweight chinos and deck shoes to master the trend.
This Rebecca Minkoff black and white stripe Horizon Cherish Tote translates perfectly from the beach to the city, making it the ideal bag for any occasion. If you’re going on a more exotic vacation, then the Palm Tree Cherish Tote has a fun tropical beach print to get you in the right frame of mind!
